Home Sweet Home!

We just made it back home after Emmelyn's first week-long trip up north to visit Grandpa and Grandma S. We spent a whole week in Daddy's hometown, Jamestown, NY.

Emmelyn spent lots of time with Grandpa and Grandma and even got to see Uncle Paul and Aunt Kara.




On Friday evening Emmelyn was delighted to see her friends Isabella and Danny again. She also got to meet her new friend Kate for the first time. Daddy and Mommy have been great friends with Isabella, Danny and Kate's parents for a long time.

On the 4th of July Emmelyn had a big day. She met many of her aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time at the annual family reunion. Emmelyn was a big hit, especially with the cousins who are mostly all boys.

Emmelyn was the perfect baby the entire week. She slept and napped well and was pretty much happy the whole time. She really enjoyed being the center of attention and having a lot of people around. We think she is going to be quite the little social butterfly.
