UGH! We are on our 7th day of medications and still very little change from the last entry. I've had follow-up appointments each morning where they do an ultrasound and take blood work to monitor my estrogen and still my egg follicles are growing sooooo slow. I had maybe one or 2 that were at 12.5 mm today and 2 that were at 10.5 mm, but the rest are still being lazy. We've already had to order 2 more boxes of Gonal-F and it looks like we will probably have to order more on Monday. At least we are adding a new step in tonight. I will start taking Ganirelix tonight to prevent premature ovulation of the follicles over 12 mm.
We have another appointment tomorrow morning at 10:45 and, hopefully, beginning early next week we will get this show on the road and move on to the egg retrieval. I don't think I've ever looked forward to something that will cause me so much pain, but I just want to something to start happening here!
